Volunteering Over Seas?

Hi! I exceedingly want to volunteer over seas..Im going to be 18 VERY soon! in less then 3 months and I want to volunteer in places such as Africa and Asia..I was in actuality looking into Cambodia and have read some scary stuff about it!!..I really want to volunteer in and orphange because I adulation children and would love to help in that area..also I dont want to volunteer for over a year..I would prefer 6months to a year at most,I also do not have riches so I would appreciate an organazation that is willing to help me with this if you know of any please list, also which place is safer..I know neither is uninjured but theres still a safer choice..is africa or cambodia safer?? or any other places that you might know of... Im a very shy & easily alarmed person but this is something I really want to do but I just want to know that Im some kind of safe rather then none at all..

Why is it so difficult to find clothing made in the U.S.A.?

I'm so disturbed of everything being made in either China, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, or Cambodia. Even supposed "high end" or "American" brands are not manufactured here. Everything is so god damned homogenized that maker names don't even matter anymore. Everything is probably coming out of two or three factories in China.

I have two pairs of True Doctrine jeans and a pair of Frye boots which are made in the U.S., but those brands are too expensive for me to fill my closet with.

why do you distress about other countries making your clothes?
and most clothes are made in those countries because they're the main manufacturers of everything in your home.

Labor costs. Labor costs are very low in Asia so it is more valuable to have clothes made in Asia and shipped to America, even the shipping cost+Asian Labor is cheaper than justified American labor. Also, labor laws in Asia are nearly nonexistent so workers can work Desire hours with little overtime pay

Labor costs??

Haha I categorically AGREE! There is a store called American Apparel and EVERYTHING in there is made in the USA. What I think is really funny is when there are American Flags made in china.

Is it possible to get Converse shoes in Cambodia? If so, where and how much? Thanks!?

Have you ever been to Cambodia?

Upstanding curious. I live here (MK) so just curious to see how many people have even been to this really tiny country.

Calling rate to/from Cambodia?

I got a call from a concubine from Cambodia and he called me with his cell using no phone card. I was wondering the cost per min. I live in the US

Thanks

Vietnam, Cambodia report bird flu deaths

HANOI, Vietnam (AP) — Vietnam on Thursday confirmed its first understanding death from bird flu in nearly two years, a day after neighboring Cambodia also logged its first fatality this year as new cases of the H5N1 virus are reported in Asia and the Centre East.

Both deaths appear to be linked to contact with poultry, and no human-to-human dispatching is suspected. Other human bird flu cases have been reported recently in Indonesia, Egypt and China. Outbreaks typically flare among poultry stocks during the winter flu months, often resulting in a outflow of human cases.

In Vietnam, test results confirmed that an 18-year-old Vietnamese man died of the complaint Monday after being hospitalized a day earlier, said Dang Thi Thanh of southern Kien Giang hinterlands's health department.

She said the man was working at a duck farm in neighboring Can Tho City when he knock sick with a high fever and breathing problems. His house has been disinfected and those who were in contact with him detritus under surveillance.
