Im a very shy & easily alarmed person but this is something I really want to do but I just want to know that Im some kind of safe rather then none at all..

I'm so disturbed of everything being made in either China, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, or Cambodia. Even supposed "high end" or "American" brands are not manufactured here. Everything is so god damned homogenized that maker names don't even matter anymore. Everything is probably coming out of two or three factories in China.
I have two pairs of True Doctrine jeans and a pair of Frye boots which are made in the U.S., but those brands are too expensive for me to fill my closet with.
why do you distress about other countries making your clothes?
and most clothes are made in those countries because they're the main manufacturers of everything in your home.

Labor costs. Labor costs are very low in Asia so it is more valuable to have clothes made in Asia and shipped to America, even the shipping cost+Asian Labor is cheaper than justified American labor. Also, labor laws in Asia are nearly nonexistent so workers can work Desire hours with little overtime pay

Haha I categorically AGREE! There is a store called American Apparel and EVERYTHING in there is made in the USA. What I think is really funny is when there are American Flags made in china.
