everytime i look at big wheel they are ALREADY looking at me, and they stare at me for ages. im with a tour group and none of the others get stared?
One time, this copule kept looking at me and looked at eachother, spoke, and looked again for persistently. also, i put my hands on my bagpack zip to put up people from pickpocketing me, and this random guy stabbed my hand with a toothpick, and when i turned behind he looked straight onwards as if he did nothing.
all this happened in TAIWAN (taipei) i am not paranoid because i never get this in hong kong or the UK?
im a british chinese, parents from hong kong. also the guy who stabbed me was about 15-17 and with his g/f.
i have dyed orange locks? is this the reason for the stares? but this cant be true since taiwanese themselves always dye their hair orange?
haha maybe you're good cause I have two friends and theyre both british taiwanese and they are really gorgeous. lol

People rubberneck at each other all the time in Taiwan. It's a cultural thing, that feel strange if you aren't used to it. (Girlish adults dress very beautifully hip in Taiwan and everybody like to check them out.) You will also notice that if you smilie, they unspecifically smilie back too. ) This is very similar to the U.S.
I felt really weird in Hong Kong and the UK. Everyone gave me smudged looks if I stared at them.
It does seem like you are a little too suspicious of being pickpocketed. I've never had any crime against me in Taiwan, so perhaps your fear is creating attention. I'm sure the guy who stabbed you did so by mistake and didn't even realize he did. Happens alot in apex density places.

I ponder it's because you have orange hair.
Are you good looking? Sometimes, if your hot, you get people staring.
I'm good looking, people blank look at me too....I live in Taichung.
I'm successful to that school, I'm going into the Junior High, and my sisters going to the high school, I'm pretty shocked, but excited at the same time. I saw the building, it kinda scares me - NO OFFENSE. D: -
But, yeah. How do you think it is?
Is it fun? How hard is it? Is it numerous from most schools in america? Anything bad about it..?
Just tell me everything ! [:

I indigence to make a scale model of Taipei 101, but I'm having a hard time finding measurements other than the complete height of the building. I at least need the width of the building, but it would be great if i could get as many as possible to make my model for detail. If you can help in any way that would be great!

Taiwan’s conciseness boomed in the 1980s, but the recent, rapid rise of China, its neighbor and historic rival, has been a windfall for this island and its capital, Taipei. Wealthy mainlanders are now arriving in droves, and they need somewhere to smidgin off their shopping bags. With that in mind, the 405-room W Taipei opened last year in a gleaming stainless-protect tower adorned in scarlet neon lights.
